A teenager from Golden was injured on Friday following a wreck at 5 p.m. on Farm Road 2225, two miles north of Golden.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 16-yearold male, of Golden, was driving a 1999 Cadillac Escalade westbound when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree, struck a fence and overturned.

The teen suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

He was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.
