Organizers of the 57th annual Barry County Youth Camp, taking place at Camp Smokey at Roaring River State Park, have released the bus schedule to pick campers up in Monett, Purdy and Cassville.
This year’s theme is “Barnyard Buddies.”
Buses will pick Monett campers up at 8:30 a.m. on May 31 at the Drury University parking lot, located at 400 Fourth Street. The bus will leave at 8:45 a.m. and travel to Purdy.
Campers need to arrive at the King Saver parking lot (formerly Ramey’s) by 9 a.m. and the bus will pull out at 9:10 a.m. In Cassville, campers
In Cassville, campers should be on the parking lot of United Methodist Church, located at Sixth and Gravel, by 9:15 a.m., with the bus leaving for Roaring River State Park at 9:30 a.m.
The bus will return campers to these locations on June 3 between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. in Cassville, by 11 a.m. in Purdy and by 11:15 a.m. in Monett. Parents are asked to be available to pick up their children at these times, as there is no adult available to wait at each location.
Campers living in Eagle Rock, Shell Knob or Golden are asked to check in at Camp Smokey by 10 a.m. on May 31. Parents are asked to pick up their children at 9:30 a.m. on June 3.
