It was a record day for the Cassville boys and girls track teams, especially for Bradan Dickinson.
At the district meet over the weekend, Dickinson threw 16.2 meters for a new school record and first place in the district.
Other boys advancing onto sectionals include Eli Pickett in pole vault; Caleb Leach in the 1,600-meter; Peter Littlefield in the high jump; Garrett Ewing, Bryson Jacobson, Jake Anthonysz and Jon Oliphant in the 4×100 and 4×200; and Charles Elliot, Leach, Jacob Martinez and Littlefield in the 4×400 and 4×800 relays.
For the Lady Wildcats, the 4×800 relay team of Marianne McCrackin, Annie Moore, Tori Mitchell and Jolie Evans took first place. Moore qualified in the pole vault; Riley Morris in the discus; Evans and Mitchell in the 800-meter, Landry Parnell in javelin; Aaliyah Franklin in shot put; and Sharayah Seymour, Evans, Moore and Jadyn Williams in the 4×400 relay.
