A Monett man was injured on Sunday in a wreck at 8:25 p.m. on Farm Road 2125, three miles east of Butterfield.

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report, Christopher Kessinger, 43, of Monett, was driving a 2022 Honda CBR600RR westbound when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence.

Kessinger suffered serious injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

He was not wearing a safety device, and the motorcycle was totaled.
