An Exeter woman was injured on Tuesday in a vehicle-pedestrian incident at 5:10 p.m on Route CC, approximately five miles north of Exeter.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Andrea Aldridge, 38, of Exeter, was driving a 2013 Kia Sorento westbound when her vehicle struck Etta Nesbitt, 69, of Exeter, in the roadway.

Nesbitt suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Aldridge was not injured.

Aldridge was exempt from wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained minor damage.
