Bruce Denis Meyers, 75, of Shell Knob, passed away Friday, July 22, near Golden.

He was born June 17, 1947, in Webster City, Iowa, the son of Roy and Dorothy (Greenly) Meyers. On Oct. 15, 2005, in Shell Knob, he was united in marriage to Beverly Donaldson, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Rich Meyers of Ottawa, Kan.; one daughter, Tiffina Spears of Cassville; two sisters, Karen Spallitta and her husband Mike of Kansas City, and Kathy Meyers of Grandview; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his stepmother who raised him, Lois Mae Meyers and one son, Chris Hammons.

He graduated from Grandview High School in Grandview in 1966. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served in Vietnam as a Security Policeman. He was a heavy equipment operator.

Services were held Friday, July 29, at Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother David Donaldson conducted the services.
