Karen Patrice Caldwell, 71, Purdy, MO, passed from this life on Monday evening, July 25, 2022 while at Oak Pointe in Monett.

Karen was born on October 12, 1950 in Oceanport, New Jersey. Karen grew up in California before moving to southwest Missouri in 1991. She started her working years as a Cosmetologist before spending most of her adult life as a truck driver. Karen loved traveling and seeing the country. She also loved listening to music, spending time with her family and was very sociable, enjoying making new friends.

Karen is survived by one son, John Caldwell; and one brother, John Christopher.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rena (Brower) Christopher; and one son, Charles Caldwell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Buchanan Funeral Home with Reverend Clif Crockett officiating. Interment will follow at the Purdy Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
