The Cassville football team will host its annual Alumni Night in Week 2 of this season, the home opener against Aurora on Sept. 2.

Clay Weldy, said he is excited to honor this year’s group, graduates from 1990-1994.

“The community of Cassville has embraced football and Wildcat Nation has become an amazing 12th man for us over the years,” Weldy said. “That support comes from the great alumni we have here in Cassville. Alumni Night is just a small way for us to show how much we appreciate the tradition that has come before us.”

Festivities will begin in the north end zone at 5:45-6:15, and the area will be reserved for alumni to watch the game and catch up with one another.

“We will have food and drinks for you as well,” Weldy said. “During our Pregame warm-up you are more than welcome to come down on our sideline and get an up close look at this year’s team.”

At 6:45, each alumni member present will be recognized before the crowd.

Those interested in participating in Alumni Night may RSVP by Aug. 19 to cweldy@cassville.k12.mo.us. The email should include the year of graduation, position on the football team and T-shirt size.

“Thank you for being a part of what I hope is a great night,” Weldy said.
