CMS shop class gets $325 from 50/50 drawing

In July of this year, Arning Companies hosted the inaugural Fred Arning Senior Classic Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament benefited the Cassville Golf Club, an organization and club that the late Mr. Arning valued and loved dearly. Tournament attendees were invited to participate in a 50/50 drawing benefiting the Cassville Middle School Industrial Technology Program. $325 was collected and given to the CMS shop class. Coach Robbie Artherton, industrial arts teacher, said the money will be spent on building materials for future shop projects. Front row: students enrolled in the advanced woodworking course at CMS.
