A Kimberling City man who practiced dentistry in Cassville died in a wreck at 7:55 p.m. on Oct. 8 on Joe Bald Road, two miles southwest of Kimberling City.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, John Reutschi, 73, of Kimberling City, was driving a 2021 Polaris Ranger southbound when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and overturned.

Reutschi was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:05 p.m. by Stone County Deputy Coroner Jerry Jenkins. He was transported to Stumpff’s Funeral Home in Kimberling City.

Reutschi was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.

This is the 104th fatal wreck for Troop D of the Patrol, which covers 18 counties in southwest Missouri.
