A Monett woman was injured on Nov. 21 in a wreck at 2:10 p.m. on Farm Road 1090, one mile south of Monett.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Elizabeth Snider, 66, of Verona, was driving a 1995 Buick LeSabre westbound when her vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign, continued through the crossing and was struck by a 2013 Nissan Altima, being driven by Esmeranda Juarez, 26, of Monett. Both vehicles then traveled off the roadway and struck a fence.

Juarez suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Aurora. Snider was not injured.

Neither driver was wearing a safety device, and both vehicle sustained extensive damage.
