The Cassville United Methodist Church will host a Christmas Catana on Sunday at 6 p.m. It will include Handbells performance, soloist, children’s nativity play, and a reception.

Barry County Republicans to meet

The Barry County Republican Club will hold it’s monthly meeting on Thursday Dec. 15 at the Barry County Museum at 6:30 p.m.

Waste Management District N to meet

The Southwest Missouri Waste Management District N will hold its monthly Executive Board Meeting at 11:50 a.m. on Dec. 13. This meeting/conference call is open to the public, and the District is asking all participants to please call in. Library events set for Dec. 12-17

The Cassville Branch Library will host the following upcoming events: Dec. 12, Adult painting at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., $5 fee; Dec. 13, homeschool enrichment at 10 a.m.; Dec. 14, Christmas Craft Snow Globe at 2 p.m., Yoga with Tara Space at 5 p.m.; and Dec. 15, preschool storytime at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sign-ups are required for all events. The library will also host a blood drive from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 16, and a Cookies and Carols event from 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 17. Herrin hosting 23rd Annual Toy Drive

Herrin Animal Hospital in Cassville is hosting its 23rd Annual Toy Drive, ongoing through Dec. 12. Drop a new unwrapped toy off at 93 Smithson Drive, or call 417-8475888 to have a toy picked up. Toys are distributed locally by OACAC.

Seligman dances ongoing each Saturday

The Seligman Chamber of Commerce country dances at the Seligman Chamber Event Center are every Saturday from 7-10 p.m. No alcohol is allowed. Admission is $10 per person, and 18-and-under are free. There is a potluck, 50-50 drawing and door prizes. For more information, people may call 417662-3612.
