A Shell Knob woman was injured on Nov. 30 in a wreck at 4:50 p.m. on Highway 76, four miles west of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Andrew Gumucio, 19, of Shell Knob, was driving a 1986 Dodge Ram westbound when his vehicle drove off the right side of the road, striking a fence and a utility pole.

A passenger in the vehicle, Macey Poinsett, 25, of Shell Knob, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Gumucio was not injured.

Poinsett was wearing a safety device, and Gumucio was not. The vehicle was totaled.
