Two people were injured on Dec. 7 in a wreck at 5:08 p.m. on Farm Road 1070, two miles south of Monett.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Carol Stockton, 65, of Purdy, was driving a 2016 Ford Fusion northbound when a 2005 Jeep Wrangler, being driven by a 17-year-old male, of Purdy, crossed the center line and struck her vehicle head-on.
Stockton suffered serious injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. A passenger in the vehicle, a 6-year-old male, also of Purdy, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Cox Monett Hospital.
The driver of the Jeep was not injured. All involved were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles were totaled.
