Wildcats 3rd in Strafford
The Cassville varsity and junior varsity boys basketball teams both placed third in the Strafford Tournament, with the varsity beating Willow Springs, 63-45, and Cabool, 46-30. The JV defeated Ava. The freshman team also won its final game in the Monett Tournament over Southwest. The varsity Wildcats are 4-1 on the season and play next on Dec. 16 at Pierce City.

Lady Wildcats shine in Jay
The Cassville girls wrestling team took eight wrestlers to the Jay Border Wars Tournament in Oklahoma, with four bringing home hardware. Faith James, at 135 pounds, was the winner on the day, taking first place in her bracket. Teammates Kailey Artherton, at 120, Annie Moore, at 125, and Hailey Roark, at 140, all took second place. Taylor Glidewell, at 190, finished in fourth place, and Saige Holman, at 145, finished fifth. Full results include:
