Johnny Reeves Tiner, 86, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at his home.

He was born Dec. 19, 1936, in Garfield, Ark., the son of Ray and Jessie (Reeves) Tiner who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death were an infant brother, Robert Wyatt; siblings, Winnell Kochis, Dale Tiner, Harold Tiner, Lucy Stewart and Darrell Tiner, and one son, Randy Tiner.

Survivors include, wife, Mary Hendrix; one son, Ricky Tiner and his wife Gail of Centerton, Ark.; two step-daughters, Rebecca Coatney of Cassville, and Patricia Miller and her husband Terry of Cassville; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

On Sept. 6, 1985, in Washburn, he was united in marriage to Mary Hendrix.

He graduated from Southwest High School. He was self-employed as a drywall contractor, owning and operating Tiner Drywall until his retirement. He was a member of Prairie Hill Baptist Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Fohn Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Williams conducted the services. Burial was at King Cemetery in Seligman.
