Millard “Keith” Boyer, 65, of Lynchburg, Va., passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022.

He was born Feb. 15, 1957, in Wichita, Kan., to Millard Dean and Emily “Louise” (Tucker) Boyer.

Preceding him in death were his father, Millard Dean Boyer, and one brother, Dean Boyer,.

Surviving are his mother, Emily “Louise” Leitner of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Rick Boyer and his wife Marilyn of Rustburg, Va.; and one sister, Connie Boyer of Wichita, Kan..

He attended school in Haysville, Kan., graduating from Campus High School in 1975. He attended Wichita State University 1976 to 1978 and was a Miller scholarship recipient. He was self-employed as a medical transcriptionist.

He worked for a time as a radio broadcaster and also did voice-over work for radio and television. He was of the Baptist faith.

A memorial service was held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Haysville, 125 S. Delos Avenue, Haysville, Kan. Pastor Bo Graves conducted the service.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Fohn Funeral Home. Pastor Milford Baker will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville.
