William Loran Robbins, 83, of Jenkins, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1939, in Gravette, Ark., the son of Wallace John and Violet Lucille (Weeks) Robbins who preceded him in death.
Also Preceding him in death was his wife, Cleo Joann Shrum; one great-grandson; two brothers, Lawrence Robbins and William Dean Robbins and one sister, Patricia Balmas.
Survivors include two sons, David Robbins and friend Sarah Mahoney of Jenkins, and Ricky Robbins and his wife Virginia of Jenkins; two daughters, Mary Steer and her husband Lloyd of Yukon, Oklah., and Lynna Cooper and her husband Michael of Cassville; two sisters, Olieva Thompson of Jenkins, and Geneva Eggers of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
William attended school in Monett, Missouri graduating from Monett High School in 1957. He started his own carpentry business from where he retired.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Aurora.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor David Pryor conducted the services.
