Johnnie Lee “John” Lowe, 73, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, at his home.

He was born May 17, 1949 in Cassville, the son of William H. and Wilma L. (Darity) Lowe, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Dwaine Lowe and Bobby Lowe and a granddaughter.

Surviving are one son, Jeremy Lowe and his wife Brandy of Kansas City; three daughters, Ashley Lowe and her husband Erv Lawrence of Exeter, Tiffany Howard and her husband James of Pierce City, and Tracy Lowe of Oregon; three brothers, Ronnie Lowe of Cassville, Leonard Lowe and his wife Debby Skelton of Cassville, and Frankie Lowe and his wife Lynette of Eagle Rock; three sisters Linda Crowell and her husband Dwayne of Crane, Brenda Vaughn and her husband Randy of Warrensburg, and Patricia Ellison and her husband Bobby of Eagle Rock; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

John grew up and attended school in Cassville. After school he joined the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. John worked in construction, building houses and roofing for Lowe Construction. He was a member of American Legion Post 118.

Graveside services with military honors were held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Pastor Lee Beck conducted the services.
