Laverna Pearl (Smith) Williamson, 79, of Hollister, MO, departed this earth on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in her home. In her final hours, she was surrounded by her husband and children.

Laverna was born on June 23, 1943, to Milford Laverne Smith and Mayme Pearl (HolmesWeathers) Smith in Washburn, MO. Growing up in Washburn (and later in Monett), Laverna was taught the value of hard work and the importance of family.

On December 22, 1961, Laverna married Lowell Howard Williamson in Monett, MO. They went on to have 4 children. For 61 years, they honored their vows in good times and bad, till death did they part.

Laverna was preceded in death by her daughter, April Faye Williamson, her father and mother, her brother, David Smith, and her sister, Lena Ballard.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell Williamson (Hollister), two sons, Frank Williamson (Springfield) and Steven Williamson (Hollister), a daughter, Kim Connell (Hollister), ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Green Lawn Funeral Home in Branson, MO on Friday, February 3. Visitation was at 2 p.m., with a Celebration of Life at 3 p.m. Paid Obituary
