Ashley Sue Matern, 38, of Seligman, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at her home.

She was born January 7, 1985, in Clarion, Iowa the daughter of Peter Joseph and Penny Sue (Crone) Matern.

Preceding her in death was her father, Peter Matern.

Survivors include, her mother, Penny Schaeffer and her husband Scott of Eureka Springs, Ark.; her fiance?, Lucas Manley of Seligman; one son, Joseph Wayne Roberts of Seligman; one brother, Christopher Adam Matern of Seligman; her identical twin sister, Krystal Love and her husband Clinton of Cassville; three nieces, Lily Love of Cassville, Rose Love of Cassville, and Violet Love of Cassville, and one nephew, Braden Garcia of Seligman.

Ashley attended school in Washburn, graduating from Southwest High School in Washburn. After graduation she attended Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, earning a bachelorís degree. She was most recently employed by Freedom Bank of Southern Missouri in Cassville as a teller.

A Gathering of Remembrances will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

In lieu of cut flowers contributions may be made to the Power Of Pink in memory of Ashley.
