The Cassville sixth-grade boys basketball team “The Mambas” have qualified for the 2023 Missouri Middle School Basketball Championship in Columbia on March 17-19. The families would like to congratulate the boys on their hard work and dedication to the sport. The long hours of practicing, and the many games have all played a part in their success. The boys and their families would like to say a special thank you to the coaches, Matt Whittington and Mike Phillips, for their time, dedication and mentoring through this stage of the players’ lives. They volunteered their time to teach the boys hard work, patience, and most importantly sportsmanship, over the past four years. With their guidance and efforts, the boys are becoming better students and athletes. The families would also like to say thank you to all the team’s sponsors for their donations. They have helped make the dreams of these young athletes come true.
