Shirley Marlene Bowling, 81, of Fairview, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Cassville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Cassville.

She was born July 13, 1941, in Liberal, the daughter of Edgar and Daisy (Clanton) Crum, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband Claude Edmund Bowling; one son, Claude Dean Bowling and one brother, Arthur Ray Crum .

Survivors include one son, Rick Bowling and his wife Joie of Fairview; one daughter, Jeri Crum of Newton County; one sister, Betty Howard of Fairview; three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She attended school in Liberal, and graduated from Liberal High School.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Belfast Cemetery in Neosho, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.

Brother Tony Ball conducted the services.
