Mary “Kay” Eckman, 71, of Aurora, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her home. 

She was born January 20, 1952, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Peter and Catherine Charlotte (Maroney) Nolan who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Rick and brother, Thomas Nolan, Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Lauren) Eckman and David (Sami) Eckman all of Republic, Missouri; three daughters, Lindsay Carter, Ashley (Brandon) Bowling and Mariah (Mark) Rapp all of Aurora; 13 grandchildren, Tiffany (Steven) Lile, Amanda (Trevor) Clevenger, Aaron (Becky) Rapp, Maclain (Kayla) Rapp, Kaylee Rapp, Preston and Payton Carter, Jaidyn and Ryleigh Eckman, Paisley and Hudson Bowling and Hadleigh and Dawson Eckman; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Blackbird Grill in Aurora.
