Billy Joe Jagger, 44, of Cassville, passed away as the result of a drug overdose on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at CoxHealth Medical Center South in Springfield. Accidental drug overdoses can happen, watch who you hang out with.

He was born December 21, 1978 the son of Rickey and Virginia Diane “Ginger” (Sibley) Jagger.

Survivors include his mother, Ginger Burdiss and her husband Bill of Cassville; one son, Joshua Leary of Cassville; three daughters, Zhoi Jagger of Eagle Rock, Allison Jagger of Cassville, and Aliza Jagger of Cassville, and two brothers, Shawn Burdiss of Cassville, and Chris Burdiss of Moberly.

Preceding him in death was his father, Rickey Joe Jagger and one brother, Bobby Burdiss.

Billy graduated from East Newton High School. He worked in construction for several local companies.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 20, 2023 at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home. Brother Tony Ball conducted the services.
