Bill Shiveley, Cassville mayor, discusses the city’s proposed use tax on the April 4 ballot. The measure would allow the city to claim tax dollars already being collected by vendors from buyers within city limits. Those dollars currently go to the state or stay with the vendor. Identical measures have passed at the county level and multiple other local municipalities.
