Mickey Alan Gold, 66, of Springfield, passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Aurora. He was born October 21, 1956, in Aurora, the son of Richard Dale and Anna Lea (Carl) Gold.

Jake Forste, Cassville soccer coach, said the Lady Wildcats, coming off a 9-14 season last year, hope to play to their strengths this season.
March 15, 2023 The water is in great shape, and the river was running 144CFS as of Sunday morning, which is not too bad since we’ve had quite a bit of rain. The river is not muddy but it is not clear.
The Mark Twain National Forest has established a Veteran Crew based out of Cassville, the third of its kind in the nation consisting of prior military service members. These veterans have acquired skills in their previous careers that will benefit the crew as they perform their new duties.
