The Wesley Wizards, a team representing the Cassville United Methodist Church, dominated Trivia Night on March 17 by winning the overall competition, as well as the “Smarty Pants” award for most trivia questions answered correctly.
The fun-filled event raised $1,569 for the Cassville Education Fund.
Ten teams competed in the charitable event with groups of co-workers, friends, classmates, family members and church members participating. Teams were sponsored by: Angel & Company (CMS team); Barry Electric; Cassville R-IV School District; Cassville United Methodist Church; Ellis, Cupps & Herrin; Joyce and Steve Ennis; First State Bank; Freedom Bank and Willis Insurance.
Emcee Dusty Reid announced four rounds of trivia questions covering a wide range of subjects from history and sports to geography and animals.
Bonus point games were played between rounds. More than 90 people attended the event.
Proceeds from Trivia Night benefit the Cassville Education Fund, a permanent endowment fund for the educational needs of Cassville Schools
