We are undoubtedly living in some very interesting and difficult times; a time in which many are searching for peace and hope.

But, here’s what we need to know: we can experience peace and hope, but it only comes through Jesus Christ.

In fact, in John 14:6 Jesus tells us,I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no man shall come to the Father except through Me.

Here Jesus says, I am the Way. This helps us to understand that there aren’t multiple ways to heaven, instead there is only “One Way,“ through Jesus and Jesus only.

Secondly, Jesus reveals that there is only one truth.

We live in a time where many proclaim that there are many truths or there is my truth and your truth. But again, Jesus says, there is only one “Truth” — Jesus.

This is why it’s so important for us to each know what God’s word says for ourselves, so we can know the “Truth” about who God is and His ways.

Thirdly, Jesus says, I am the “Life,” meaning the only way for us to experience eternal life in heaven is through Jesus. It’s not through being religious, or through our good works or anything else other than through the perfect shed blood of Jesus.

Again, that’s why Jesus says, I am the “Life.” Because it’s only through Jesus that we can experience God’s grace, forgiveness and salvation, which leads us to also having peace and hope!

If you don’t have peace or hope, I want you to know, not only can Jesus give you peace concerning what we face today, but He can also give you hope throughout all eternity. So, I encourage you if you haven’t already— put your faith and trust in Jesus!
