Alta Mae Harmon, 86, of Cassville, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.

She was born August 2, 1936, in Springfield, the daughter of Roy and Virginia (Lowe) Harmon, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death were one sister, Dorothy Jean and one brother, Robert Dean.

Survivors include one son, Ron Porter and his wife Cindy of Mustang, Okla.; one daughter, Diana Carter of London, England; one sister, Carol Ann Blair of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Norene Harmon of Goodman; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She attended school in Overland Park, Kan. graduating from Shawnee Mission North High School. She was a member of the Church of God in Overland Park, Kan.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
