Kenneth James “Kenny” White, 70, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Veterans Health Care System of The Ozarks in Fayetteville, Ark.
He was born August 26, 1952, in Thayer, Mo., the son of James “Jim” and Willa (Davis) White.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Pendergraft; his parents Jim and Willa White of Rogers, Ark.; one son, Kyle White and his wife Jannae of Rogers, Ark.; three daughters, Vicki Kier and her husband Jacob of Shawnee, Kan., Lisa Lallemand and her husband Justin of Little Elm, Texas and Cheryl Tamas and her husband John of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Linda Neal and her husband Glen of Rogers, Ark. and Cynthia White and her husband Tom of Berkeley, Calif., and eight grandchildren.
He graduated from Green Forest High School in 1970. He immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1970 until 1994. After retiring from the military, he was employed by the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier in Fayetteville, Ark.
For the past 17 years Kenny called Cassville his home.
Graveside services with military honors were held at Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Roller Cemetery in Washburn, Mo., under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Randy Holman and Pastor Charles Taff conducted the services.
