Nadine Jane McCasland, 94, of Seligman, Mo. passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at her home.
She was born April 16, 1929, in Mountain View, Okla. the daughter of Orvel and Etta (Smith) Coon who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Don Douglas McCasland, Sr.; one son, Don Douglas McCasland III; one daughter, Teresa Jo Peck; two sisters, Juanita and Helen and one granddaughter, Dee Dee.
Survivors include one son, Don Douglas “Spike” McCasland, Jr. and his wife Gina of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Nadine grew up on the farm in Mountain View, Okla. where she was born and attended. She worked on the farm from the age of nine until seventeen when she and Don were married She and Don lived in Sacramento, Calif. where he was stationed during his service in the military until 1951 when they moved to Oklahoma City, Okla. until 1974 when they moved to the Ozarks. She was a member of Seligman First Baptist Church in Seligman, Mo.
Service were held Monday, June 5, 2023 at Seligman First Baptist Church in Seligman, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo. Pastor Brent Ferguson conducted the services. Burial was at Seligman Cemetery in Seligman.
