20 needed for production of “Trouble-In-Tumbleweed”
The SKITS community theater group has announced auditions for the fall play “Trouble-In-Tumbleweed” on Saturday at the Central Crossing Senior Center in Shell Knob at 10 a.m.
This zany presentation is set in the wild west Arizona Territory in the 1880s in the dusty town of Tumbleweed.
Iconic characters of the old west come to life in this exhilarating comedic offering like the pompous charlatan Mayor Oates, the traveling medicine huckster; Professor Tom Burns; the glamorous card-shark Lilly de Lilac; along with a myriad of interesting, funny, and compelling roles that will be an absolute blast to portray as an actor.
Twenty roles are necessary for this colorful production, including 12 parts for women and eight for men. In addition to three major roles, there are numerous smaller and intermediate parts available.
Whether a seasoned veteran or a brand-spanking newbie, SKITS is pleased to have anyone attend the auditions for this wild west comedy saga. As always, acting experience is not necessary, just the desire to have fun with a group of like-minded actors, with the ultimate objective being to perform for the enjoyment of our audience.
Auditions for the SKITS community fall play “Trouble-in-Tumbleweed” are Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Central Crossing Senior Center, located on Highway 15YY In Shell Knob. Show dates are Nov. 17-19.
