Do you believe the Word of GOD to be true and complete?
“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:20-21
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Christians, everything we do, believe, and stand on must start and end with God’s holy word. The Bible is the truth we must stand on in everyday life. The Bible is complete, perfect and true for yesterday, today and tomorrow. The Bible is the one thing we can stand on for life.
If we don’t believe God’s word to be perfect, complete and true, what can we stand on? Believing and living by the Word of God will change your life.
“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!” Psalm 119: 9-11
“Where do you find your hope? Is it in what you feel or think or in what you know GOD’S WORD says?” Psalm 119:50, 57, 81, 82, 89, 101, 103, 105, 107, 114, 130, 140, 145-147
“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.” Psalm 19:7-8
Because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.” 1 Peter 1:24-25
Let’s try to start each day by praying this verse in Psalm 19:14: “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”
Say it with your mouth and believe it in your heart that God’s word, “The Bible” is complete and perfect.
Jesus said in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
Someday we will all stand before GOD and the WORD will be what we are judged by.”
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
Hebrews 4:12-13 God’s word, The Bible, is a great revelation of the will of God. It is divinely inspired — every book, chapter, verse and word of it.
Let’s believe it, learn it, stand on it and follow it.
