A new market president has been hired at CS Bank in Cassville, a man with a history of working with banks in the area.
Charlie Cross, CEO, CS Bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Davis to market president for the local bank’s Cassville/ Southwest Missouri market. Davis previously served as market president at Equity Bank in Clinton, Mo., however, prior to his time there, was the market president for Arvest Bank in Cassville and Shell Knob for a 10-year span from 2008-2018. He has 30 years of experience in the banking industry having started his career in 1993.
“We are thrilled to add someone of Mark’s caliber to our growing bank team in Missouri and know he will serve our company well as we continue expanding our branch footprint throughout the region,’ Cross said. ‘Mark is a well rounded and capable professional who has extensive knowledge of Cassville and the surrounding area. He certainly checks all the boxes for what we were looking for to lead our growth ambitions in the area. I couldn’t be more pleased to add him and his talents to our bank family here at CS Bank.”
In addition to his duties as market president, Davis will serve on the local bank’s Corporate Senior Management Team, as well as serve as a member of the Southwest Missouri Advisory Board of Directors. He will begin his tenure the first week of January, as the bank begins to add staff members prior to its upcoming move to a new facility currently being constructed at 89 Hwy. 37 in Cassville.
Mark and his wife, Krista, reside in Shell Knob and have one son, Grant. Mark graduated from Baker University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. An engaged member of the community, Mark is a member of the Optimist, Elks Lodge, and attends First Christian Church in Shell Knob.
CS Bank is a $550 million-dollar bank with seven locations throughout Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri with plans for continued expansion.
