The process comes after resin, which let off a smell similar to acetone when being installed, is poured into the sewer pipe and steamed to harden. Asselin said the company is expected to complete its pipe-linings in Cassville this week. The work is part of the city of Cassville’s sewer restoration project, aimed at shoring up old pipes that were allowing too much inflow and infiltration into the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
