Cecil Levern Robbins, 88, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.
He was born December 17, 1935, in Cassville, Mo. the son of George Corniluis Rinehard “Neal” and Ida Belle (Garner) Robbins, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were five brothers, Herman Robbins, Wilbur Marvin Robbins, Glen Levere Robbins, Charles Lindy Robbins and Joseph Marion Robbins; five sisters, Nina Luceil Kipps, Dorthy Belle Evans, Gladys Fern Robbins, Arvilla Mae Stringer and Pauline Stewart and one grandchild, an Angel Baby.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ford; two sons, Neil Robbins of Monett, Mo. and Cecil Wayne Robbins and his wife Jennifer of Purdy, Mo.; one daughter, Amanda Robbins of Purdy, Mo. and five grandchildren.
He grew up and attended school (if he wasn’t skipping to go fishing) in Cassville, Mo.. He enlisted in the United States Navy serving four years aboard the USS J Douglas Blackwood earning a Navy Good Conduct Medal. He worked in construction most of his life.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Bob Gaddis will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be at Horner Cemetery in Cassville, Mo.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Cecil.
The family would like to honor Cecil’s love of hunting by inviting everyone to wear camo or hunter orange.
