Cassville Pantry has chosen the raffle winner selected for its ‘Bless Your Neighbor’s Table’ fundraiser. This reward was selected among a pool of compassionate contributors to the food pantry during the holidays. The prize was awarded to Debbie Gundel, left. It is a hand-painted barn quilt painting featuring a busy bee theme created by local artist Darci Englin, right. Englin decided to include the symbol of a bee in her painting suggesting a metaphor related to the idea of cultivating hope for productivity in the context of serving a food pantry. Bees are industrious and hardworking creatures that play a crucial role in pollination, enabling the growth of fruits and vegetables. As part of the ongoing effort to alleviate food insecurity, the donors and their contributions play a pivotal role in providing essential resources for those in need of food assistance.
