Peggy Pauline Reed, 94 of Neosho, Mo. passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Cox Hospital in Monett, Mo.

She was born September 6, 1929, in Pioneer, Mo., the daughter of Davidson Grey and Lela (Jones) McMillen, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Houston “Buck” Reed; one brother, Jim McMillen and one sister, Katherine Adams.

Survivors include one stepson, Fred Reed of Minn.; one sister, Joe Ann Jump of Exeter, Mo.; two grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She also had many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.

She grew up and attended school in Wheaton, Mo., graduating from Wheaton High School.

She was a homemaker and truly loved helping others.

Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Brother Tony Ball conducted the services. Burial was at Dice Cemetery in Fairview, Mo.

The family received friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
