A Cassville woman was injured in a wreck at 1:25 p.m. on March 12 on Highway 37, one mile west of Butterfield.

According to a Missouri Highway Patrol report, Kaden Smith, 18, of Cassville, was driving a 1997 Ford F150 westbound when his vehicle pulled into the path of a northbound 2007 Ford Escape, being driven by Caleb Birchfield, 29, of Seligman.

A passenger in Birchfield’s vehicle, Kayleena Davis, 32, of Cassville, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Smith and Birchfield were not injured.

All three individuals were wearing safety devices. The Escape was totaled, and the F150 sustained extensive damage.
