Randy H. Terry, 67, of Monett, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, while at the Ozark Methodist Manor in Marionville, Mo.

He was born on May 28, 1956, in Purdy, Mo., the son of Rollie and Betty (Lasley) Terry. He grew up in Purdy and received his education here. He worked for many years in the shipping department at Bass Equipment, Monett. He was a member of New Site Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Chris Terry and partner Ian Mackinnon, of Plano, Texas; his mother, Betty Embrey, of Purdy, Mo.; two brothers, Steve (Mary) Terry, of Purdy and Jeff (Lisa) Terry, of Verona, Mo.; one sister, Debbie Terry Taylor, of Purdy; four nephews, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Preceding him in death was his father, Rollie Terry; his grandparents, Wayne and Hazel Lasley and Manford and Dorothy Terry, all of Purdy; his uncle, Jerry Lasley; and his aunt, Norma Whitson.

Graveside services for Mr. Terry were held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Purdy Cemetery with Reverend Aaron Weibel officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Purdy Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
