Robert Lee “Bob” Yockey, 86, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora, Mo.
He was born February 14, 1938, in Erie, Kan., the son of R. Ernest and Bonnie B. (Leckenby) Yockey, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Ronnie Yockey and Larry Yockey; two grandchildren, Dustin and Michael and two great grandchildren, Paige and Ezra.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Schrader; his children, Cheryl Cole and her husband Keith of Cassville, Mo., Debbie Clapsaddle and her husband Don of Erie, Kan., Cindy Rohden and her husband Tim of Clever, Mo., Gregg Yockey and his wife Kandi of Cassville, Mo., Vicki Leonard and her husband David of Purdy, Mo. and Kelly Cornell of Cassville, Mo.; a sister, Judi Hopkins and her husband Neil of Joplin, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren and special friends, Teli and Jennifer Ramirez.
He grew up and attended school in Erie, Kan., graduating from Erie High School. He was employed by Williams Energy Company, NuWay Campers and FASCO, Industries from where he retired after 21 years.
He was of the Christian faith.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, May 3, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Garret Akin will conduct the service.
