A Stella man was injured on Friday in a wreck at 9:15 p.m. on Highway 76, half a mile east of Exeter.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Richard Wilson, 52, of Exeter, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when his vehicle struck Michael Terry, 39, of Stella, who was riding a bicycle.

Terry suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Wilson was not injured.

Wilson was wearing a safety device, and Terry was not. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
