Driver ejected in Hwy. 112 crash

A Cassville man was seriously injured following a single-vehicle wreck on Friday at 8 p.m. on Highway 112, six miles south of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnathon Case, 34, of Cassville, was driving a 2016 Nissan Versa northbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver.

Case suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

He was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest report, Case was charged at 10:15 p.m. with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. He was released for medical care.
