Cha Kong Yang, born on April 4th, 1952, in Bouana, Xiangkhouang, Laos, passed away on April 30th, 2024, in Joplin, Mo.
A courageous veteran of the Vietnam War, he fought alongside American troops in Long Cheng with the support of the CIA until April 1975.
Following the war, he immigrated to Chicago, Ill., in 1978, before settling in Sheboygan, Wis., in 1980, where he resided for 22 years.
His entrepreneurial spirit led him to Stark City, Mo., where he pursued his dream of owning a poultry farm.
Survivors include his father, wife, children, grandchildren, brother, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 11:00 P.M. Saturday, May 25, 2024, and from 7:00 A.M. Sunday, May 26, 2024 until 9:00 A.M. Monday, May 27, 2024 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 27, 2024, at Dice Cemetery in Fairview, Mo.
