Anna Mae Allen, 81, passed away on June 1, 2024.
Born on July 31, 1942, in Stone County, Mo., the daughter of Rosco Sherman and Inez Leora (Jenkins) Hicks, who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her siblings Grace, Donna, and Dallas, Her loved ones include her husband, Elbert Wayne Allen; three children, Elberta McGowen and her husband Daniel of Mustang, Okla., Randy Allen and his wife Kathy of Marionville, Mo., and Gary Allen and his wife Donna of Jenkins, Mo.; three siblings, Pauline Hedrick of Galena, Mo., Warren Hicks and his wife Teri of Springfield, Mo., Ruby Bowling and her husband Charles of Crane, Mo. and Edna Relander of Waterloo, Iowa; six grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She grew up in Galena, Mo., where she attended Galena School.
She found salvation in 1960 at the 1st Baptist Church in Aurora, Mo. She was a dedicated member of Crane Bible Baptist in Crane, Mo.
She spent time on the road with her husband Wayne, exploring the world from the vantage point of his truck.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball conducted the services. Burial was at the family farm in Jenkins, Mo.
