Carroll Jean Miller, 81, of Rocky Comfort, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

She was born December 5, 1942, in Rocky Comfort, Mo., the daughter of Marcell and Lorene (Woods) Long, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, Arvel and Loise Long.

Survivors include three children, Kim Steinmann, Tony Love, and Alison Miller; her sister, Colleen Slinkard and her husband Nick; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and her niece and nephew.

She attended Rocky Comfort School, graduating in 1960. She was saved at the age of nine by Hugh Higgs. She was employed at Fasco for several years. Carroll raised cattle on her farm at Rocky Comfort for many years.

Graveside services were be held Monday, July 1, 2024 at Rocky Comfort Cemetery in Rocky Comfort, Mo., under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.

Pastor Donnie Spears conducted the service.
