City of Cassville resumes permits, building inspections

The city of Cassville has announced the resumption of building permit issuance and building inspections, effective immediately.

This initiative aims to enhance the safety, quality and integrity of construction projects within the community.

‘Permit and building inspections reflect our commitment to fostering a safe and thriving environment for our residents and businesses,’ said Bill Shiveley, Cassville mayor.

“While we have had a temporary pause of our permit review and inspection process, we are pleased to resume building inspections and permit review,’ said Richard Asbill, Cassville city administrator. ‘We have contracted with Ron Floyd for permit review and building inspections. Mr. Floyd is licensed in the states of Missouri and Kansas as a general contractor and inspector.”

Floyd began his duties on July 17.

The city of Cassville encourages all contractors and homeowners to adhere to the updated regulations to ensure compliance and safety.

For more information on obtaining permits and scheduling inspections, people may visit the city of Cassville’s website or contact City Hall at 417-847-4441.
