Michael Allen Mattingly, 44, of Exeter, Mo. passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Mo.
He was born January 6, 1980, in Cassville, Mo., to Ronnie and Teresia (Reed) Mattingly, who survive.
Also surviving are his sister, Brandy Horn and her husband Robert of Exeter, Mo.; five nieces, Alisha Newton and her husband John, their children, Aurora-Jo, Johnathan, and Britt all of Exeter, Mo., Harmony Horn and her daughter Mavis of Springfield, Mo., Caeton Horn of Republic, Mo., Muriel Horn and her fiancé Collin Hang of Exeter, Mo. and Dharma Horn and her daughter Jade of Exeter, Mo.
Preceding him in death were his nephew, Dalton Horn; one uncle, Jimmie Mattingly; two aunts, Sue Mattingly and Fern Perkins and his grandparents.
He grew up and attended school in Exeter, Mo. He was employed by Younglove Construction as a millwright where he traveled from coast to coast.
Michael attended Wheaton First Baptist Church.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 19, 2024 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Kenneth Carney conducted the service.
