The Cassville football program is set to honor players from the 1990s at the annual Alumni Night in September.

Clay Weldy, Cassville football coach, said he is excited to recognize players from the 1995-1999 Wildcat football teams on Sept. 6 at the Week 2 home opener against McDonald County.

‘Thank you for being a part of what I hope is a great night,’ Weldy said. ‘The community of Cassville has embraced football and Wildcat Nation has become an amazing 12th man for us over the years. That support comes from the great alumni we have here in Cassville. Alumni Night is just a small way for us to show how much we appreciate the tradition that has come before us.’

Alumni festivities begin with check in at the north end zone between 5:456:15 p.m. The north end zone will be the alumni area to watch the game and catch up.

‘We will have food and drinks for you as well,’ Weldy said. ‘During our pregame warm-up, you are more than welcome to come down on our sideline and get an up close look at this year’s team.’

At about 6:35 p.m., alumni will be recognized before the crowd. Those interested in participating in this Alumni Night should RSVP by Aug. 22 to cweldy@cassville.k12.mo.us. Please include the year of graduation, positions played and T-shirt size.
